Bichon maltes of 2.5 kg is perfect although the size M I think would be better for the fur

The carrier is of good quality, but for a Spitz 3.5 kg. It’s small, there’s very little space for the dog and it puts pressure on the dog’s throat.

Perfect for our 3,5 kg chihuahua, although he likes to go with a little leg on the outside hahaha... very comfortable to carry and you hardly notice his weight.
